What is the risk of my child becoming sick with COVID-19?

The evidence suggests that children are not at increased risk for COVID-19 than adults. While some children and infants have become sick with COVID-19, most known COVID-19 cases to date involve adults. People with serious underlying medical conditions (moderate/severe asthma, HIV-positive, immunosuppressed due to cancer therapy etc) are at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
